What does Social Saver do?
It adds save controls for supported Instagram and TikTok content you choose and saves supported media to the destination configured in your browser and extension.
What content may I save?
Only content you created or own, have permission or a license to download, or are otherwise authorized to download. See Acceptable Use.
Why does Social Saver need access to supported pages?
It needs information from the supported page to identify the item you selected and show the relevant control. It does not collect browser-wide history. See Security & Permissions.
Does it need my Instagram or TikTok password?
No. Social Saver sign-in is separate. Never send platform passwords or sign-in codes in a support report.
Where are downloads saved?
Downloads follow the destination shown in Social Saver settings and your browser's download behavior. You can review the selected destination in the extension.
How does the daily allowance work?
Supported save actions share one daily post allowance across platforms. A carousel counts as one post. Your current plan, allowance, and any offered price are shown in the account or checkout flow.
What information is sent when I save?
Social Saver sends information needed for the action you request. For Instagram, unrelated recent page observations and fields outside the defined data format are excluded. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I report a problem?
Contact [email protected]. Include your browser and version, platform, exact steps, expected behavior, actual behavior, and a screenshot if useful. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or private account data.
